Bazz (Roc Trax/Osushi Disco)
Bazz has started a DJ/Producer project in 2007 in Tokyo. He was
getting inspirations from some synthesizer sound of 70's-80's
electronic disco sound and 70's progressive rocks. He dares to
use vintage Minimoog, Korg MS-20 and some analog synthesizer
into recent dance music because he respects old synthesizer sounds.
He mixes various music of all generations and genres and the original
mashups he made. In the live dj,he sometimes mixes various
classic tunes with recent dance music. As he is one of the record
collectors, and he has so many archives of 60-90's music.
"Bazz Mix Tape" is a series of his mix stuffed recent dance tunes
with funk, garage rock, new wave, oldies and some classics tunes.
First of the series has been downloaded by 16,000 people on zshare.
"Disco Bazz" is a series of his mix stuffed 70's-80's disco tunes.
"Disco Bazz 1" includes Gino Soccio, Vangelis, Bobby O,
The Rolling Stones, Japan, Herb Alpert, The Beach Boys, Herbie Hancock,
Telex and 50 tracks.
若干17才からDJ開始。現在20歳。年齢からは考えられない卓越した
音楽知識とスキルが噂を呼び80kidz、Dexpistols、The Lowbrowsといった
シーンを代表するアーティストからも賞賛を受ける。
08年にネットにて公開した、Kraftwerk、Buzzcocksから
Gorillaz、The RollingStones、The Clash、さらにはMarilyn Mansonや
MissyElliott、Ne-Yoをエレクトロ・ハウスと一緒に混ぜた55分間の
レコード一本録りのミックスが話題を呼び、世界中で一万六千人に
ダウンロードされ、国内外より注目される。
09年6月には50分に50曲ものダンスクラシクスを詰め込んだミックスが
投下され、ジャンルを問わないその幅広い選曲性が
日本国内のみならず、Erol Alkanの公式フォーラムを始めとし、
海外のブロガー達の間で話題騒然となる。 又、同時にDJのみならず
トラック・メイキングも精力的に行っており、MYSS、DJ Kyoko等
東京エレクトロシーンの主要DJにプレイされる等、
今後の活躍が期待されるネクスト・ジェネレーションの筆頭。
